More Transfer News

Sky sources understand Queens Park Rangers have made a bid for Tottenham's Brazilian defensive midfielder Sandro. The 25-year-old was brought to the Premier League by Harry Redknapp during his time at White Hart Lane and could now be set for a reunion with his former manager. Sandro has not featured in any of Tottenham's opening three Premier League matches this season.

Transfer News on Liverpool

Liverpool defender Sebastian Coates is set to join Sunderland on a season-long loan deal, according to Sky Sports reporter Vinny O'Connor. Midfielder Lucas Leiva is another player possibly set to depart after attracting interest from Napoli and Galatasaray.

Transfer News on Manchester

Sky Sports' Spanish expert Guillem Balague believes Radamel Falcao is on his way to Manchester United. He says Manchester City are not in the running despite Alvaro Negredo's likely departure, and thinks Falcao has been enticed by the project at Old Trafford despite their lack of Champions League football.

James Cooper has the latest on Manchester United, and that private jet we mentioned earlier. With Javier Hernandez and possibly Danny Welbeck on their way out of Old Trafford, United may be in the market for a new striker. A plane from Nice is expected to land at Manchester Airport at 4.50pm and Radamel Falcao might just be on board, with reports in Spain now suggesting that United are set to beatManchester City to the Monaco forward's signature.

Transfer News

Tottenham Hotspur have been fairly quiet so far this summer but Radamel Falcao's move to Manchester United could set in motion a chain of events which leads Danny Welbeck to White Hart Lane. Spurs are also expected to complete another transfer today, with midfielder Benjamin Stambouli set to arrive from Montpellier.

Atletico Madrid defender Toby Alderweireld is on his way to Southampton

Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Atletico Madrid defender Toby Alderweireld is on his way to Southampton and he is also hoping to sign an attacker before the transfer deadline

"Toby Alderweireld will undergo a medical today. Hopefully we can also add another attacker. I can’t say who we are working on"

The latest news on Everton & Manchester City

The latest news on Everton comes courtesy of Alan Irwin, who tells Sky Sports News that Manchester City defender Matija Nastasic has emerged as a possible target. Lewis Holtby had also been linked with a move, but it seems the German is more likely to head to Hamburg from Tottenham
