Themba Zwane for Pirates?

In what could be one of the more surprising moves of the transfer window, KickOff.com has learnt that Themba Zwane could be joining Orlando Pirates on loan.

The midfielder shone at Mpumalanga Black Aces last season where he was on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns, and even made his way into the Bafana Bafana squad for the matches against Australia and New Zealand.

He returned to Chloorkop at the end of last season and featured during pre-season, but has only featured as a substitute in two League matches this season.

Sundowns are prepared to loan the player out, but the stumbling block seems that Pirates want to sign him outright and feel they are too big a club to sign a player on loan from a rival.

Signing Zwane on loan will also mean he is ineligible to face Sundowns when the two sides meet.
